Group Session III

MIND MATTERS

At a Glance

In this session, you will explore ways to shift your mindset from being stressed to feeling calmer. The session introduces “Train Your Brainโ€ (also known as Attention Training) which is designed to help you strengthen your focus. The goal is to reduce attention to fears and worries, allowing you to focus on whatโ€™s most important here and now. “Hold That Thought” (also called Worry Postponement) is another technique for managing worries or distracting thoughts by acknowledging them, setting them aside, and choosing to revisit them at a later time. This helps improve your focus on current tasks and reduces repeated worrying. By temporarily setting aside worries, you can come back to them with a calmer mind and a fresh perspective which may help you think about them more clearly. This method helps you to feel more in control of your thoughts and feelings, making it easier to handle challenges. These exercises help you clear your mind, handle problems at your own pace, and reduce worry.
