At a Glance

Cancer changes everything, our roles, relationships, even our self-image. Uncertainty about the future is common and worries and fears can distract us from what truly matters. By setting goals that reflect your values, you can live a more meaningful life, even when life is challenging. Focusing on what’s truly important gives you purpose and helps you spend your time and energy on what really matters. Mindfulness exercises like ‘Be the Pond’ help you understand that thoughts aren’t always facts and don’t necessarily need our immediate action. In ‘Be the Pond,’ we’ll practice observing our thoughts without reacting, allowing them to come and go without judgment. This helps us stay calm and present.
